I want to fix your bad bio… & I see it in almost every founder's brand I work on.

Founders who are doing the work, making real money, running real businesses, and nobody online can tell. Their page looks like a hobby. Their bio isn’t written with prospects in mind. Their content doesn't match the caliber of what they have already built. Ultimately, they just don’t look the part.

And it is costing them everything they can't see. The rooms they're not getting invited to, the referrals that don't land because the person Googled them first, & the "is this legit?" conversation happening before they ever get a chance to show up.

I know this because I just watched it happen in real time with one of my clients.

Her name is Callan Faulkner. She is the founder of The Uncommon Business and when she came to me she was making millions of dollars… YES, I said millions with an M. But people were still looking at her profile and going, β€œIs she legit?”

She was at about 10,000 followers, not getting invited into the rooms she wanted to be in yet, and not because she wasn't qualified, but because her brand didn't show it YET.

So we got to work.

A full rebrand took place for her personal brand AND Uncommon. NEW voice extraction with the way I (Cozy) pictured her brand moving forward - where life and AI meet. We pulled her voice out and built it back with intention, smart social hooks, caption rules, things that her ICP cared about, and tested it. A facelift to her social presence + content strategy. Her prime real estate AKA her social bio, pinned posts, & profile across platforms were reimagined. Cohesive & beautiful so that when someone landed on any of her social pages, they knew exactly what they were looking at - Who Callan is, what she does, and why they need to learn from her.

The results in 4 months:

10,000 to over 53,400 followers. Hundreds of thousands of new leads. Over $1M through organic social paired with her rebrand & paid ads. I am not joking - This is about to be her largest launch and the most organic conversions she has ever had.

Not to mention, she was just in Nashville with Amy Porterfield, Jasmine Star, and Stacy Tuschl. Ed Mylett had a podcast spot that was waiting for her at 50K followers (Ed, you ready?). The tools we built take her words and create new content ideas so her team can run without her being glued to a screen.

There was a massive ocean between her old profile and her new one. We swam our asses off to cross it - AND IT HAS PAID OFF.

One of the first things we changed was her bio.

Your bio is the most valuable real estate on your entire Instagram. It is the first thing someone reads when they land on your page, and most people are wasting it. Vague titles, cute taglines that don't say anything, no clear reason for someone to follow or reach out. If a stranger lands on your profile right now and can't tell in five seconds what you do, who it's for, and why they should care, your bio is working against you.

So I'm giving you one of our prompts. This is from the Cozy AI tool library.

We call it The Cozy Instagram Bio Update Prompt.

This LONG prompt will build you a new Instagram Bio - Optimized for the platform (copy & paste me into Claude): "You are a brand strategist who specializes in Instagram profile optimization for founders and business owners. Your job is to write Instagram bios that stop the scroll, build trust in five seconds, and convert.

Before writing anything, ask me these questions one at a time, waiting for my answer before moving on: What is your current Instagram bio? Paste it exactly. What do you actually do? Say it the way you would to a friend at a coffee shop. No jargon. Who specifically do you serve? Not "women" or "entrepreneurs." A real person with a real situation. What is the transformation you create for them? What is different about their life or business after working with you? What is your strongest credibility marker? Number of clients, a specific result, years in business, press, certifications, podcast features, or a single client win. If you don't have a big number yet, name a specific outcome you've created. Do you have a podcast, newsletter, secondary account, or email you want featured in your bio? What is the one action you want someone to take when they land on your profile? Pick one: DM a keyword, click your link, follow, book a call. Where does that action lead? Link in bio, ManyChat keyword, email address, or booking page. Once you have my answers, do two things in this order. First, look at my current bio and tell me in two sentences exactly why it is not converting. Be specific. No softening.

Then write me 3 bio options. Each bio uses 3 to 4 lines and follows this structure: Line 1: A hook. An identity statement or a belief statement that makes a stranger want to stay. Line 2: Credibility, distribution, or context. A specific number, result, podcast, or secondary asset. Line 3 (optional): The transformation, or what someone gets if they stick around. Final line: A specific CTA. One action, not three. Label each option by approach: "Identity-led," "Belief-led," and "Result-led."

Rules: Each full bio fits within Instagram's 150-character visible limit. Use one emoji at the start of each line as a visual anchor. No emojis inside sentences. No buzzwords. Banned: visionary, thought leader, passionate about, helping you live your best life, elevate, transform, unlock, empower, bring your magic to the world, multi-passionate. No rhetorical questions. No em dashes. No filler openers. Do not start a bio with "I help..." or "Helping..." The first line must pass two tests. It would make someone stop scrolling, and it would stand out in a lineup of ten people in my industry. The credibility line must use a real number or named result. No vague claims. The CTA must be one specific action.

Reference bios at the caliber I want you to hit:

Example 1: πŸš€ Founder, The Uncommon Business ✨ AI coach to 50,000+ businesses 🌿 Build a business that runs without you πŸ‘‡πŸΌ NEXT FREE MASTERCLASS | 4.30

Example 2: ✨ I Build Cringe-Free Personal Brands πŸ“£ @builtinpublicpod πŸ’Œ [email protected] DM me "CODES" to Career Cheat Codes

Example 3: You're not meant to make money in your business like everyone else. πŸ‘‡πŸΌπŸ’΅ FIND YOUR MONEY MAP. These work because the first line earns the stay, the middle proves they can deliver, and the last line tells me what to do without making me think."

Once you update it, send me the before and after. Reply to this email with a screenshot of what your Instagram bio looked like and what you changed it to. I want to see what you're working with and I love watching people make this shift in real time.

More where this came from. I have lots to share. <3
